Time Passes
In the rain shadow of the Sierra Nevada, we spotted an old hotel. It looked haunted, so we investigated. In the lobby was a vintage Apple Macintosh SE. Or something like it. The machine still worked. This was a source of great wonder, at least to me, so I handed my camera to the photographer David Robertson and said: “Here, take a picture of me and this thing.” He did. That was ten years ago from where I write now. And from where you read this, further still.
