Mr. Tombeaux, an amateur geologist, directs our attention to this roadside Hadean outcrop. Few geological traces of the Hadean Eon remain on Earth. So we look to the Moon. The Lunar geologic timescale has several major divisions relating to it. The best time to look for Hadean rocks on earth is during the three moonless nights of each month. It is rare to find one Hadean rock–much less two–during daylight hours. This particular outcrop is located near a crossroads, so that might explain things. Mr. Tombeaux assures us it is an outlier. They all are.
